If Kovalev is that good, why couldn't he KO Grandad B.Hop?

    :huh A 49 Year old, past prime, shot Grandad B.Hop and Kovalev could only manage a UD 12. Because soon as he faced someone half decent that is what happens, even though he won. A prime B.Hop may have won the bout. And people keep going on that he killed a boxer, that was a freak incident and it can happen in boxing and has happened before.
    Same with GGG, he keeps fighting bums, soon as he faces someone good the KO's will stop and he may lose too. Kovalev and GGG are both hyped up beyond belief on here, yet both their resume's are nothing special, compared to someone like Ward. Let's hope Andre Ward faces them both and puts their lights out. Before that Kovalev has a tough bout with Beterbiev, who's already beaten him twice in the amateurs.

    They have been gorging themselves on cherrys. I think this is marketing and done to create a fan base. There skill set is not in question. But again they have not been tested. Just have to wait and see cause every dog has his day thats just how things work. One of them will for sure fight ward that will be a good test. The rest is history.

    Very few boxers have resumes like Ward. And the reason both Kovalev and GGG are hyped is the way they have been wiping out top 5/top 10 opponents - any time this happens in boxing, the fighters get hyped to the moon, because ultimately it is what the public wants to see.

    Hopkins has an excellent chin. That's why he's never been KO'd (plus it's hard to catch him flush). Further to that, the fight could have been stopped in the 12th really...

    Whenever you see someone who can't differentiate between his and he's, it's gramsey forsure. He's the only person in this world that makes that error.

    Yep, until the 12th round. Kovalev had respect for Bhop, and knew he was dealing with a senior citizen. We all knew Kovalev would dominate. If Kovalev fought like he did in the 12th round from the beg when Bhop stuck his tongue out no way he'd make it.
