I mean stevenson has been ducking him but if kovalev wins against hopkins it should make stevenson completely really duck him money may style. But will ward duck kovalev? or is ward just looking to pick on smaller guys and pretend he is a bad ass by calling out GGG who is still cleaning his own division which is 8 pounds lower ?

Depends upon the manner of the win. If Kovalev wins a close and contested decision like Taylor and Calzaghe he may see Kovalev as an easy win. If Kovalev destroys BHop I doubt Ward would want the fight. I'm a fan of his but he seems to want every possible advantage, only way he'd want the fight is on his terms.

Stevenson would only want the loser of tonight's fight he clearly is risk adverse. Unless a fight with the winner becomes a PPV event that could earn him serious money I think Stevenson will keep ducking.

Stevenson called Ward out live on HBO, Ward refused to answer him. Stevenson said he would fight Ward at 168, but Ward is still afraid. When asked if he would fight Kovalev, Ward said that Kovalev was too big for him. Nobody wants to fight is SOB Ward's home town with Ward's personal referee, judges, boxing commission, etc., and for no money. Ward can only draw a couple thousand at the most.............................nobody wants that fight, but Stevenson is still waiting for Ward to answer him................

Stevenson already ducked him, and looked like a fool in that. Expecially considering there isn't much to fear, except HYPE.

Ward wouldn't exactly be ducking him, since he's a division belove.

Ward can't duck him he's in the wrong weight class.

Superpimp might price himself out who knows. He's worth more alive than dead.

Welcome to Boxing, Ward is a Super Middleweight and Kovalev is a Light Heavyweight. Both are in two different weight categories, look them up. Stevenson, on the other hand, said he's attending this fight and will go for the winner.

but its okay for for ward to call out a smaller man in GGG constantly and claim that he doesnt want to fight? but then its okay for him to say kovalev is too big? this double standard is insane

Ward is under no obligation to fight him until he moves up or Kovalev offers himself to move down (which he won't), Stevenson I think probably will fight him and get blown the **** out, that's if Kovalev wins tonight of course.
