The reason why Manny had to make most of the concesions is because he lost twice thus lost a lot of bargaining power. Of course Floyd had the upper hand in the negotiations no one is disputing that. Yes I agree it would have been easier if Manny just agreed to the testing in 2010. The question is, if Manny did agree to the drug testing, would the fight have been 100% made? People assume the fight would have been a sure thing but I'm inclined to think otherwise. Year after year Floyd had a reason not to fight him until now.

Given Floyd had given the concession of a 14 day cutoff, that was negotiated through mediation: It's safe to say the fight would have been made.

You seem to forget as well, it was Manny's team that walked away from negotiations and signed a fight with Joshua Clottey only 3 days later. Mayweather was left with no opponent, and needed a catastrophic earthquake in Haiti to get one. (Mosley vs Berto fell through)

Manny had another opponent lined up and a contract ready to go for Clottey in only 3 days. Mayweather did not have another opponent lined up. Says a lot in my view.

Pac fans, your time is almost up. Your pathetic logic, on purpose motivational lies...and posting cowardice is almost at an end lol. After that you'll try to jump to GG, and we will all see tht coming too! He's 33 and can be done at any time. No more shakes, avoiding testing, overrating of any fighters that you like. You have a month and a half left!

What about Manny's offer to do the fight in June of 2012, when he knew Mayweather would be in jail, was that a real offer? Which is more feasible; fighting for a guarenteed $40M, or participating in a professional boxing match when you're incarcerated?

    The poll results are in

    The public have voted

    And the results are unanimous

No KTFO6 = No Mayweather Pacquiao

Now get off your seats/beds/mobiles/cells/laptops and bow down to the God that made this whole thing possible

Excuses; lined up weeks in advance.

I like that kind of attitude.

Marquez did shake up the boxing world by tapping Pacquiao in 2011, that is true.

It clearly made a difference on both sides. Mayweather saw Pac was now vulnerable and not the invincible PED beast he thought he was. While on Pac's end it was clear he was declining and another loss could kill any interest in a potential showdown.

Without doubt Floyd will have gained confidence watching Marquez flatten Pacquiao.

The '09' negotiations happened way before Juan almost killed Pac. As I said Pac fans, your time is almost up. Motivate yourselves so I can boot you clowns right up the ass and out of this sport the day after Floyd humilaites Pac. Lol

yeah that is why I feel Mayweather should win this one.
Pacman is more than a live opponent but like you said punchers get hit, against Mayweather that is a very very bad thing!
