If Lacy & Kessler continue doing nothing, how will Joe be remembered in 30 years?

I just stated, whatever threads you started proves nothing. You have hijacked countless other threads started by other posters with the same, repetitive, Calzaghe hatred. On an obsessive level. We get the picture, you dont like him. But not starting threads about him does not equate to proof that youre not obsessing about it.

 

Back what up? Read any ****ing sample of your posts. Posts, not theads. You know what youve written, i know what youve written. It is all the same ****. You love Pacman. You hate Calzaghe. Calzaghe is a ****. Calzaghe is a fraud. Calzaghe is a euro bum. Change the ****ing record you tedious obsessive *****.

What you HAVE done more recently is try to make yourself appear a bit less extreme by starting with a criticism of calzaghe, saying something nice, then rounding it off with a criticism. You see, so very predictable. Like night following day, you will hate Calzaghe.

TBH your Calzaghe hatred means nothing to me. I just get bored of reading the same **** from the same people every time i log on here. Like a ****ing stuck record.

 

You guys should try to agree to disagree. I think the question Pac raised is a valid one. If it isn't then the other members of ESB will burn him for it. Simple as that.

As for Kessler - I think he is a hell of a fighter. He was doing great against Joe early and then just seemed to get lost from the midpoint on. I think there are several guys that "could" beat him, but no one is going to walk right over this guy. He is too big, too strong, too skilled for someone to beat him easily.

Okay, thought it was Naz, but Lacy isn't a never was either. You can't just look at resume, and his devastating defeat, weak performances due to a bad shoulder and say he is a never was. He has boxed pretty well also, why else would he be the target of hype? His career isn't over yet.

Don't mark him as a never was, due to the fact that he couldn't live up the insane expectations.

 

:good. I agree that Kessler got mentally unstuck in Wales - but as you well point out, there were 60,000 people shouting plus the significance of the fight(even his corner failed miserably). Even the 23,000 in Denmark took a big toll on him, even if you couldn't see it on his performance. He was simply not ready mentally for such grand scale pressure.

However, I think it was a good experience for him, and anything from now on can only be lesser pressure. He had no problems in Australia, and I don't think he would have any problems in USA. He is not just great on homesoil(in fact the newly hype around him in Denmark for the Andrade fight was as I said taxing on him.). I don't see him as a homefighter. Many would buckle from what went on in Cardiff as a first superfight.
