    lee has next to no chance of beating golovkin. he can't outbox him. he can't out slug him. he has the shakier chin.

    no, the point is lee may turn down the most money to rematch in his opponent's hometown, the same as ward did.

    and froch was well up for the rematch, but his interest waned in direct correlation to ward's career, culminating in him saying he was no longer interested at the point of potential retirement.

    when the wba realised they had 2 inactive belt holders on their hands and tried to get 'em fighting, froch seized the opportunity, made an offer that may not be bettered in ward's entire career... and ward declined. then, in a deeply suspicious move we've heard nothing more about, wba halted purse bids, which in all likelihood would have been won by matchroom, and possibly stripped froch.

    how can you continue to defend this?
