You will not get far with me regards your manipulator's claims and indirect use of NLP here with your chip on shoulder while thinking that you are smarter than I then show where I ever had posted that Mike had ducked someone?

I had posted that he had proper matchmaking nothing more.
I think best his fight was vs out of retirement not in prime Holmes and you might attempt claim that it isn't reality. It is and always will be.

I agree except I doubt that he'd retire after 50-0. I think he'd go on to lose a few fights before his final retirement.

Nah, he wouldn't have anything more to prove after he'd break that record

I think he would always have need for money. He always seemed to have too many leeches hanging around him. And he was insecure enough that he would always listen to them.

Yeah, but if Cus had lived, Mike wouldn't have those leeches.

Maybe. But Cus could do only so much to keep them away. Mike's private life would still have been his own, especially as he was growing older and coming in contact with more and more people. He was pretty impressionable. But I think Cus at least would have kept him more in focus for Douglas.

Mike Tyson did very well with Kevin Rooney as his trainer and with Jimmy Jacobs and Bill Cayton as his managers. While Rooney may have not been the greatest trainer in the world, it appears he made Tyson toe the mark. Jacobs and Cayton may have made sure that Rooney continued to be Tyson's trainer. In addition, Jacobs may have kept the entire structure in place for Tyson. After Jacobs' death, Tyson eventually parted ways with Cayton and Rooney. Tyson's boxing career became much more erratic after Jacobs, Cayton and Rooney were no longer in the picture.
