I mean if Lennox Lewis needed to beat Mike Tyson to fulfill his leagcy his legacy really must have been bad.

Lewis said it himself over and over. What a shitty leagcy it must have been then?

He needed to beat a fighter who did'nt really care to fight Lennox and only did it for money.

    Great legacy Lewis has.

You're one of those Klitlickers who think Quitali "SCARED" Lewis into retirement aren't you?

Did you take your pills or put on your helmet first when you took the short bus to school?

Yeah look a my avatar/porfile picture it just screams Klitschko. I actually prefer David Haye much better. Not a Klitschko fan.

I'd say it helps just a LITTLE bit more then Tyson vs Holmes.

How? Yes Holmes maybe was old but he was'nt washed up like Tyson?

He had only lost two close decisions to Spinks and after that fight he went on to fight and beat a prime Ray Mercer. Not bad at all.

Just like your avatar, if Ali had agreed Lennox would've beat his parkinsons ridden ass, just to "cement his legacy."

Lewis beat every man he ever faced as a pro. If he hadn't fought Tyson, ****s like you would accuse him of ducking. It was a good way to round off an impressive career which included wins over some very good fighters. You just trolling I guess. Well, I hope you are for your sake. :good

:lol:Lennox legacy is one of glass Canadian chin, feeble old opposition and being chased into retirement.

"If Lennox Lewis needed to beat Mike Tyson to fulfill his legacy..."

He didn't. He just had to not lose to him. His legacy is much deeper than not having a hiccup against a faded Tyson.

Lewis' opponents combined for a 1071-286-26 record and their average age was 30+. Also, with a division full of East Euro's he managed to only fight three. One was drugged, one was a Cruiserweight who went 12 rounds with the far bigger Lewis and the other was a short notice replacement who kicked his ass into retirement! :D

  12. Tyson more or less gave up in that fight. He was waiting for a decent shot to hit him so he could go down, Lewis did nothing special in that fight.

Tyson was 100% shot in that fight. That win meant nothing. Tyson had been over the hill for like a decade prior.

he definitely didn't NEED a shot mike tyson to fulfill his legacy, it was a cherry on top purely because of the grudge they shared. his legacy was cemented. he had already beaten a virtual who's who of heavyweights of that era (and avenge his two fluke defeats and robbery of a draw), minus bowe because of a blatant duck, not to mention, he went on to tko vitali klitschko, one of the top two heavyweights today.

Beating a prime Vitali to a bloody pulp was much more valuable for Lennox' legacy than beating up an overmatched Tyson who didn't have a chance in hell of even landing a punch.
