If Lennox got back in decent shape (say a la Tyson 2002) and made a comeback how would he do? I think he easily could beat Povetkin by KO or wide UD and win a world title again. What would this do for his legacy? I also think he could beat this version of Vitali by UD/MD/SD but Wlad wins a wide UD over an over the hill inactive Lennox
He'd have completely shot reflexes, no athleticism and severely diminished skills. This thread is a joke.
With a good 6-12 months training after getting in shape I think he could have a more successful comeback than Foreman did. Reflexes would obviously be an issue but Lennox always stayed behind the jab and head movement was never a main aspect of his style. I am just kidding as he never will make a comeback but it does make me wonder. Stranger things have happened in Boxing!!!
He would still beat everyone except the Klitschos, and he would be competitive for some rounds against them I think.
amazing how some people think he would look remotely similar ...... "hmmmm looks like the guy in the youtube video from 02-03...he should be able to handle anyone but the klits"
think you are right Wladimir would KO him Vitali and Povetkin would beat him in close fights. He could beat the rest
lol, if he would come back at his age any top 30 fighter would walk right through him. Vitaly is 40 and still fights only cause he was training and fighting all these years.
