Losing one stand-alone fight against the current Heavyweight King after a decade of inactivity would do nothing whatsoever to harm Lennox's legacy. Nobody would give Wlad any credit for winning or think any less of Lennox for losing.

It wouldn't harm his legacy at all, it would only harm his health. It's one thing coming back after a few years but a decade, that's too much at nearing 50.

If the fight would even remotely competitive (wich it probably isn't) at his age and being out of there for a decade, it would be a massive achievement already.
If he wins (and the world doesn't end right there and then) it would be one of the greatest accomplishments in boxing history.

He will probably get pasted even worse as Ali was at age 38, but that's to be expected at his age.
