If Lewis had faced Foreman in 92 Instead of Ruddock?

Forman would not fight Lewis.back then he was the lone voice in the USA picking Lewis as the next dominant champ .in KO magazine he picked Lewis out of Bowe Morrison sheldon and Williams.He also was the only person who said Lewis would destroy Ruddock .George was no fool.

 

My point is that since he tested the power of foreman he changed the tactic to chicken mode and he ran because he knew that the old man was slow to catch him at that stage of his career.foreman was the aggressor and won the fight plain and simple.

Why is is it "chicken" to use your speed advantage to beat the s&it out of your opponent. I thought what Stewart did, and what Morrison later did, was smart, sound strategy. A smart fighter does what is needed to win the fight, not worry about looking like a chicken.

 

It is fine if this one is your style but it is chiken mode when you usually fight trading fire and then run like a ***** in certain fight when you test the power of a guy. Son i have not time for you go to watch the cartoons

 

This is an utter mismatch. One guy who always knew that it would be a total mismatch was Foreman himself. George would say Lewis was the future and that he did not want to fight Lewis. Thank god it never happened.

You see George would give away age so long as he had experience, size and reach going for him. That’s why he sought Holyfield and Moorer not Bowe or Lewis.

George was really smart.

If this fight happened George certainly would have been knocked out.

 

Lewis by UD. Lewis wasn't completely irresponsible pre-McCall, he still had a preference for minimal risks and out boxing his opponents behind his reach.

I think Foreman manages to stun him when he lapses but that's about it, lopsided decision loss.

 

I think Old George gets beat up by Golota. That’s another fight George would know he could not win. and Lewis just nailed Golota to the floor. Lewis was all for taking out bug guys. Remember Michael Grant? Lewis beats old George easier than Golota. Different level.

George Foreman was never going to get in the ring with Lennox Lewis, ever. If Lennox fought him he would have crushed him early .. no one knew it more than George .. Lennox excelled against big guys he could tee off on and Foreman (2) would have been right in there with Ruddock, Grant and Golota ..

 

Chicken mode? Did you not pay any attention to the ongoing disfigurement of George's face? He looked like his head got run over by a truck

Ive seen the fight several times. You cant turn a guys face into a grotesque mask just by running. You gotta throw punches.
