Call me crazy but Lewis still wins this, here's why; As some of you may know, Lewis and Tyson sparred as amaeaturs. Though, Tyson may have had the upper hand in the first couple sessions, Lewis figured him out and turned the tables. Toying with Tyson. I think Lewis simply had Tyson's number from here on out.

Look at Lewis against Bruno and Tucker. Amateurish and sloppy. Tyson would have destroyed him. Steward saved Lewis' career.

    By that logic

Abajan would've always beat Lewis as he KO'd him in amateurs and had his number

Gonzalez would've always beat Bowe as he KO'd him in amateurs and had his number

Tillman would've always beat Tyson as he beat him twice in amateurs and had his number

The most dangerous Lennox Lewis in my opinion was one where he had to prove himself TO HIMSELF.. Golata, Grant, Briggs, Morrison, Tyson, Ruddock, Rahman 2. He could go in and take people out or he box people comfortably for 12 rounds like Tua, Holyfield.. I think a slightly motivated and worried Lennox is just too big and bombs Tyson out, I'm sure he said when he fought Tyson he felt him going in the 4th but beat him up for a few more rounds

'98 Lewis could possibly beat Tyson.

But the Lewis that was gangly with no muscle mass and hadn't become the finished article? That guy to beat THE DESTROYER of 1988?

No way. No way in hell.

    True.

Prime 1986-1988 Tyson destroys that Lewis. That Lewis was destroyed shortly thereafter by McCall.

Look at him in '93 compared to '97.

Lewis in '97 was a TANK. Lewis on '93 had the potential to be a tank.

This is just outright ridiculous. There's bias and then there's this. Wow

Lewis got knocked out by Tyson's sparring partner, that says it all.

And Tyson got knocked out by a guy that was so bad Lewis couldn't even get sparring partners for him.

And spare me the Tyson was so shot garbage. McBride used to get beaten up in his own local bars.

On topic, of course Lewis couldn't have beaten Tyson in 88 if he had turned pro then.

that's not fair Foxy, McBride was a light weight drinker and was wobbly after only half dozen or so pints, that's why he got his face kicked in the time you're talking about :nono

    very hard to pick imo,,,,

prime for prime I pick LL confidently, however, Lewis took awhile to peak while Tysons aggressive style peaked in 88 :think

I still think Lennox could of beat him in 88, just not as confidently.
