Without the cut I think it would have continued right up til the final bell. I can't see either of them getting stopped in that fight. I do think the pace would have slowed right down and it would have been a hugfest in the later rounds, but still a great fight

 

Vitali was fading, Lennox was coming on. Lennox had a nick on his nose, Vitali had half his face hanging off. Lewis would have stopped him.

Yes it's such a shame that Lewis was allowed to hit him back.

Lewis was pretty banged up too. Not on the level of Vitali obviously...

 

What would have happend well if Vitalis Eye didnt fall out, He would have been knocked out the bleeding was getting worse, Vitali was slowing down (not like lewis wasnt tired) but Lewis has also been in these big big fights he knows how to pull it together and close the show. Vitali all we knew about him was if the fight ever went deep and it was a tuff fight he was liable to quit...
I beleive in another round or two Lewis would have ended Vitalis night with a right hand....

The way that cut was opening, the fight could have been stopped anytime after. It would get worse, and Vit would need a KO to win.

 

Lewis would have KOed him in the 7th. Vitali looked like he was ready to drop.


Who knows he may have just not came out of his corner.

 

He definitely wouldn't have, his corner were stopping the fight. Do you think the referee was about to let him fight on with butterfly stitches all over his face?

Your corner putting butterfly stitches on your face means far less than sitting on your stool heavily as Lewis did apparently.

 

Vitali was up 4-2 and schooling Lennox. Lennox was gassed

 

Vitaly looked great the first 3 rounds, but Lewis got better and better the longer the fight was going. Vitaly didn´t land any meaningfull shots after the 4th, whereas Lewis was landing bombs. Both looked tired after the 6th, so off course nobody knows, but the momentum of the fight had clearly changed to Lewis.

 

I cannt go on . It hurts to much.
