    I mean it only took Lomachenko 3 fights to win a title but it took Mayweather 18. It took Lomachenko 7 fights to become a two weight champion but it took Mayweather 28 fights. Lomachenko won Olympic gold twice but Mayweather only won bronze. We all know that fighters get better over time. Is Loma the new TBE?

    how many fights did it take loma to get his first pro loss? also another one he has on mayweather...congrats loma you are the new TBE!

    who said loma couldnt be great? i didnt....the OP was talking about things loma did quicker than mayweather and i decided to help him add to the list...never said loma couldnt become "great"

    Two different fighter, Loma is the hungrier fighter, Floyd the thirstier fighter. Loma would get his azz kick in a pool fight where Floyd can gulp water at all time.

    Yes, he is better than Mayweather. Salido is Loma's ultimate stylistic threat (the same way B grade Maidana is Mayweather's stylistic threat). When Loma dismantles him, who are everybody else?

    Floyd Mayweather can't carry Loma's jockstrap. Loma is a man from the big leagues, he fights the best FROM DAY 1. Mayweather fights shot Greats and B graders.

    I'm a fan of both fighters but Loma has a lot more work to do to be in PBF's class. He's making a good run of it though very early on.
