Lomachenko has a long way to go to be compared to Mayweather. But he has all the tools to surpass him, lets enjoy him while he's here. Been a while since we had captivating talent like that.

Mayweather is a Great fighter. He dominates the p4p scene for many years having success in 5 different weight class.
It's too early to make any comparison. Skills wise they are both levels above their contemporaries.
But I love Loma attitude. He certainly in the game searching for greatness.

Lomachenko only have a few fights. I think corrales and Hernandez are definitely better than Walters, Russell and Martinez. Accomplishment wise at 130 Mayweather is ahead, skill wise with eye ball test, it's debatable.

 

Skill-wise it might be close and possibly leaning towards Lomachenko since Lomachenko is more mature than Floyd was at the time in terms of developing his style, but Floyd's physical abilities trump what Lomachenko has shown us. He was bigger, faster, stronger, and had much better KO power. So resume and physical abilities, along with roughly equal skill at worst, means Floyd was handily better at 130.

 

He's already better than Mayweather ever was.
