That's the same kind of logic I am using. Now if people are basing it solely on his pro record, obviously you can't put him there yet. But based on his total body of work, I would agree with you.
Kinda puts in perspective how amazing Pac getting 8 weight classes really is. Hearns, Leonard, Mayweather, DLH got 5. Loma needs to take out champions at 140 and 147 to match those guys.
Loma won't clown around with Linares, hes going to just break him down and go for the KO in the later rounds. Watch
Yes. 2 other men lay claim to sonning Vasyl. One is Orlando Salido and the 3rd man... His name is Robert Paulson. This content is protected
It's probably about 10 fights that make you an ATG, if you factor out the stuff at the start that doesn't really enter into the legacy stuff. Lomachenko is fighting the kind of opposition a 30 fight veteran would be, he just skipped the initial stages of it.
It's just that boxing has such a rich history. I think tonight was the turning point for Loma's legacy. He has the making of a true ATG. I mean ffs, some people are arguing that Wladimir should not be considered an ATG at HW.... (Of course i am thinking of the very elite of the sport)
I think tonight is an ATG win. He's still got a long time to go in his career so there's not really any need to judge him yet, but if some accident befell him and he couldn't fight again, he'd be classed as an ATG for me.
