Yes. The question is whether he's already #1.

Around 80% of people have Lomachenko as P4P number 1 right now

But after tonight after he beats Linares, if you don't have him as number 1 then you will just make yourself look stupid and a big hater.

the way he looks, he is already the best boxer out there, cant find fault in the way he looks right now. this fight is just to gauge his ceiling, then mikey to cement his standing, anything beyond that is a chapter in a legend.

Beating the #1 p4p doesn't necessarily mean you are the #1 p4p. Sometimes, the highly rated guy is overrated. Sometimes, it's a fluke or a styles thing. Sometimes, they were carrying an injury into the ring, or they didn't train, or they have degraded with time. A win against Lomachenko would raise him in my estimation and I would lower Lomachenko, but I wouldn't drop Lomachenko entirely from the pound for pound and I wouldn't raise Linares to number one.

We have to see how things play out and then judge based on the specific outcome of the fight. Was there a robbery by the judges? It's been known to happen. Did Lomachenko get cut with a doctor stoppage while he was up on points? When Salido beat Loma, nobody was rushing to make him the p4p king.

I’d still give Crawford the edge. The reason is that Lomachenko lost in the not too distant past and never proved he could deal with guys who fight like Salido.

No way. Doesn't have the resume. He'd have to dominate Mikey Garcia to even make the top 5, but even then that would only be one elite win.

After beating Linares Loma is still at best number 8 behind Thurman, Crawford, Canelo, Usyk, Bellew, Wilder, and Joshua, since they all have better resumes.

Bellew is pound for pound better than Lomachenko. Sometimes you think you've come across the dumbest person in the world, then you meet this guy.

Bellew has a much better resume than Loma.

Bellew has wins over Miranda, Isaac Chilemba, who was still a top light heavyweight, Illunga Makabu, who was a top 10 cruiserweight, and two wins over David Haye.

Loma's best wins are Gary Russell Jr., who wasn't a top 10 fighter in his division when Loma beat him, Roman Martinez, who was shot after two back to back Wars with Salido and taking a brutal beating from Mikey, and Linares, who is Loma's first good win, since Linares is a good fighter, but he was tailor made for Loma.
