Watch the weigh in and the appallingly officiated fight and it't pretty fu*king obvious.

Equal parts inexperience, hubris (he'd have been well within hid rights to pull out as soon as Salida missed weight), and circumstance.

What he gained from that fight will only help him in the long run, though. The way he fought back from adversity and nearly got the KO tells me the kid's got the right mindset to be champion. With how quickly he learns, whoever wants to exploit Loma's lack of pro seasoning better do it quickly.

If GGG would come in to fight floyd being 185lb and referree would allow GGG to hit Floyd bellow the belt line as many times as he wanted , who do you think would win the fight?? and then after all we'd ask you a question "if Floyd is so good , then why did he lose to GGG? ". What would your answer be??

Seriously? No consideration that it was his 1st fight as a pro? Lol.....you boys drive a hard bargain.. This is a silly question and Salido wasn't a B level guy. He wasn't elite but he was world class, a solid A level guy with a TON of world class experience.

He lost to Salido because he isn't as good as people say he is. Still a very good fighter, just not the second coming.

    Yup.....

When a guy is throwing nut shots from outside, it's not appropriate to try n tie him up inside just so you are basically inviting him to tag you low again and again while the ref can see. :rofl:rofl:rofl

When Salido started hitting low, Lomachenko started tying up.:huh:huh:huh

    Horrible tactic.

He shoulda complained. Complained some more. But kept his game outside since his jab was his only regularly scoring shot until later in the 8th rd or so.:think

Do you re****s even watch the fights? Seriously.

Lomachenko lost the fight because of inactivity, plain and simple. Clearly concerned with conserving energy to make it through all 12, the kid fought conservatively in the first half of the fight and gave away rounds due to INACTIVITY.

Salido was busier, if laughably ineffective, and banked some rounds as a result. The fight should have been scored a draw.
