Became undisputed at 135 and 130, where would you rank him on your ATG list? There hasnt been anyone who was undisputed in two weight classes as far as I know. If Loma achieved that feat would he sneak in to top 20 ATG?
Evander Holyfield has been undisputed in 2 weight divisions. Loma would be an ATG if he did that, but far from the top 20 as the competition currently is not so great (some of the top names are also very far from their primes e.g. Devin Haney and Tank) although he can still fight them and take the credit because if he waits then he will become old himself. Another big factor is who he takes the belts from. Sometimes the better fighters are not the fighters holding the belts. Loma being as talented as he is, really should clear out all the top names at 130 and 135. That would give his some serious leverage in the ATG. If he went to 140 for a fight with the winner of Josh Taylor vs Regis Prograis versus Jose Carlos Ramirez then he is really is a top 20 ATG and has a serious case for it. Finally, Loma also needs to stop wasting his career fighting bums like Crolla, who add nothing to his legacy whatsoever. He has already had around 300 or 400 amateur fights so he has all the experience he needs. Loma should only be fighting legacy defining fights and nothing else. Anything else is waste of time. I could'nt care less that Haney and Tank are pre-prime, Loma should just accept their offers and fight them. Time is of the essence. Like Floyd said to Leonard Ellerbe after Ricky Hatton called him out; "Make the f@#k!ng fight happen!". It's like that.
Lomachenko's got a massive name that he can fight that also happens to be legacy-defining, high profile, and very lucrative. Wish he'd take the fight.
