Loma should have called Berchelt's supposed bluff and accepted to fight him.

As much hype as Loma gets I'm not sure why he didn't want any of the top SFW in Berchelt.

He has his fanboys already, same as GGG , same as Kovelev

In that sense his legacy will be fine

Yeah. He's no smaller than Pacquiao.
Pacquiao was almost 30 years old when he first fought at 135, then he basically jumped up to 145/147 and has been a welter ever since.

Maybe it's because he's been noticeably smaller in every lightweight fight he's had so far?

Pac was 149 on fight night against Broner? He looks way more stout that Loma does. Loma has some very skinny legs. But hey if they are close in weight, sure a Pac fight would be awesome.

He shouldn't think about moving to 140 for the next year at least. Garcia is hanging around and I suspect will come all the way back to 135 so there's a potential big fight there as well as directly below from Davis/Farmer ect. Loma takes losses if he moves up, I don't see any way he beats someone like Hooker or Taylor any time soon.

I think we agree here on most counts. My point is that every fighter has a ceiling regarding what weight division suits their build. For me that is 135 for Loma. Not saying I would want to watch him at 140, but if I were him, or his manager or trainer, I would advise him to stay and build his legacy at 135 and 130.

I’d say you’re the “idiot”. Look how abnormal he looks with added weight on him. The guys body and dimensions are what make it obvious he’s not a lightweight. When Crolla is bigger than you, who is in no way a big lightweight, you are a small lightweight, no debate needed for it

This. 135 has no competition for Loma at all with Mikey out of the picture. 140 will present a little bit more of a challenge, but Loma most likely would beat everyone at 140 as well, since Taylor despite his potential is too green for Loma and Prograis is too predictable. Loma most likely will have to eventually move up to 147, to really be challenged again like Floyd, PAC, Shane, etc. eventually had to.
