Barrera will retire and there will be no rubber match. Marquez will still be obligated to give Pac a fight for his title if he gets by Juarez.
Really depends how he beats him, if he outboxes him and dominates him then it would be massive. Then Barrera would rematch JMM.
Some people think the opposite....they think that Marquez does not deserve a shot at Pac, not today not tomorrow.... they actually think that JMM has to fight Guzman first before fighting Pac...and if he defeats him then he can have shot at Pac. Some Pac fanatics will tell you that you are crazy. Pac is the king and JMM would be able to fight Pac when Pac decides that. In other words, it does not matter if JMM is the champ, in this case is the opposite....the champion (JMM) has to earn the chance to face/fight the challenger (Pac) I hope you can figure that one out.
That is his plan my friend . . . and that's a indirect admission that he is no longer at his peak. . . but . . . if he wins . . . he won't say no to a third fight believe me. MAB is the kind of fighter who doesn't want to leave anything unfinished. :yep
MAB had excuses in their first fight. If he wins this one, he validates those excuses and does not owe a third fight. He will retire on a high note.
