    it would surely have had a horrible ending right there and then.

    I'm told Magomed Abdusalamov is now stable in the ICU. He was in a medically induced coma after suffering injuries in the fight w/ Perez.

    Yes, just imagine 2 more rounds of punishment, not a happy ending at all.
