    Simple Question:

If Mayweather loses to Maidana this saturday. Will their rematch generate more PPV numbers? Or will Floyd's numbers drop once he loses?

    Will draw around 2m, easily.

I don't think this fight will break 1m.

I don't think so. Canelo broke records because many believed he was the one to beat floyd. One of floyds main draws is that people watch to see him get beaten and lose his '0'. If maidana beats floyd I don't think there is a huge draw in seeing whether flloyd could beat him after losing. The rematch would see a very defensive floyd who would try to out point.

I wonder if Floyd would take a dive if he knew he'd make x amount of extra money in the next fight.

It's irrelevant. Floyd will stop Miadana.

Depends how Floyd loses. If it's a 12 round war where both guys go down multiple times then yes a rematch would be huge.
If Maidana absolutely destroys Floyd that's another story, Floyds entire legacy would be questioned like when Roy Jones first got knocked out and the rematch would probably not do huge numbers
