I tend to agree with you Hofbrau; I thought Maidana was unpredictable (to his own advantage) with his punches, than being just ordinary. Floyd was ordinary, unsettled by Maidana I thought, orchestrating and rounding up the ref at off-beat times. Maidana provided plenty of bamboozlers, to put some doubt onto the old wrinkles on Floyd's forehead. That head of Floyd.... is way, way, way too big. Manny can be cajie and unpredictable too. I hope Manny is able to get close and gives it his all and more. I am sure Manny will have worked out strategies to bring on an upset(Maidana with his unconventional ways, might have shone some light)

 

Mayweather fans need to use some objectivity and understand that Floyd is the epitome of a bottom-feeder when it comes to selecting opponents. He is simply not accustomed to dealing with adversity, especially from opponents who are supposed to have a chance.

Cotto, Mosley, and ODLH: Old/Shot
Corrales, Castillo, Judah, and Alvarez: 100% unproven when they fought Floyd.
JMM: This is non-roided JMM, bulked up 2 weight classes by eating twinkies and urine. Not a valid comparison to the one that Manny fought 4 times.
Baldomir, Mitchell, Gatti, Bruseles, Corley, N'Dou, C. Hernandez, Chavez, Augustus, Gerena, Juuko, Vargas, Rios, Manfredy, G. Hernandez: None of these guys were anything more than halfway decent wins.

Manny, on the other hand, has had 11 fights with Morales, Barrera, JMM, and Bradley to go along with his many pushovers. Sure, Manny gets hit and Floyd doesn't. But he also knocks people down pretty much every fight, and Floyd doesn't. They fight in totally different ways.

-Castillo, Judah, ODLH, Cotto, and Maidana were hitting Floyd regularly.
-Guerrero was finding him with the counter left to the body.
-Ortiz was finding him when he finally said f*ck it and started swinging.
-Mosley CLOBBERED him multiple times in the same round.
-Maidana nearly dropped him by countering his pull counter.

There is no way a reasonable person could think Pacquiao, who is a vastly superior offensive fighter to all of those guys, won't hit Floyd even more.

On May 2nd, a lot of you are going to be surprised because the smoke and mirrors will be gone and you'll see Floyd fighting a legitimate, athletic, experienced, awkward, southpaw, elite, great fighter.

^^Like i said the last time pacquiao fought a fighter that was in his prime and won it clearly is a future hof was against barrera in 2003 which was 12 years ago.
