it means stay far away from 147
it will be harder to ko people and easier for them to ko him
but you get hit enough your tolerance rises

It means Khan should start insisting he wear headgear for future fights.

When Maidana gets TKO'd or loses a lop sided decision, does he then become an over-rated bum?

it was a good shot....the problem is that he was wobbled by a ****in JAB before that even happened.......thats the only reason i think his chin might hold him back. Ive made a 180 on the kid and now want to see him succeed but im realistic. He needs to box maidana's head off and not let him catch him with a clean, solid power shot...let alone several in combination.

He hasnt knocked out a b level fighter imo

and corley was beyond shot and he couldnt put him away.

he didnt impress me vs ortiz, he got dropped numerous times and won because ortiz bitched out.

i expect khan to steamroll him, but if maidand does kayo khan i give him massive credit

The way I see it khan was hurt by a fairly massive left hook to the temple. He didnt seem to shook up after the jab.

He hasn't knocked out a B level boxer, so that means his power is overrated? It's clear to see that he is a very hard puncher. As you move up through the levels in boxing, it's harder to knock your opponents out...and if you don't get the knockout, that doesn't mean your power is overrated. World and Elite boxers will make you miss, or if you do connect on them...you will rarely land clean.

You weren't impressed with his performance v Ortiz? Came back from a knockdown in the first, to almost knock Ortiz out cold straight after...then after a couple rounds and knockdowns, makes Ortiz throw the towel in.

I have Khan getting stopped in the later rounds which is a shame, it might be a case of Khan having to try and get Maidana out of there early, better being in there with him for 9 minutes instead of 36 minutes imo.

To say he has been called the p4p hardest puncher by some is ridiculous.

like i say he might prove me wrong vs khan but i doubt it.

in terms of heart he did, but in terms of skill he didnt. huge holes gaps in his defence that i expect khan to brutally exploit.

back to his power, i rate him below judah and ortiz at jww.

He is up there as one of the P4P hardest punchers in boxing though. If I made a statement like, 'Malignaggi is one of the hardest punchers P4P'...then yeah, that would be ridiculous.

Well I don't see how he would, or would have to prove you wrong against Khan. Khan is known to not have the greatest chin in and around 140lbs...and has already been wiped out in 1 round.

Judah's left I would say probably holds more power...but Ortiz does not have more power than Maidana.

I wouldnt put him in my top 10 for power.

this, to me, is maidanas big step up. if he wins he proves himself. if he loses he proves he is as bad as i think he is.

re khans chin, it is bad, but the fact remains he has been stopped the once. only a big puncher has knocked him out. and i think only a big puncher can knock him out.

He doesn't make your top 10 P4P punchers? I'd love to see who you have ahead of him.

Khan has not only been hurt and knocked out by big punchers though. He has been hurt jumping in against "weak punchers"...resulting in him being hurt and knocked down. So no...he hasn't proven his chin is reliable enough for people to think that only big punchers have a chance of knocking him out.

Not in any order, but those i rank above maidana for power. haye, wlad, peter, froch, aa, bute, pavlik, miranda, angulo, pac, cotto, hernandez, bailley judah, ortiz, jmm, gamboa, lopez, hasegawa, darchinyan

i put maidana p4p beneath them in terms of power.

and re khans chin, i didnt make a general statement, it is my own opinion that only a big puncher will knock him out.
