Arum wanted the MGM Grand for Pacquiao on May 5th. Let's face it. Who was fighting at the MGM Grand on Cinco De Mayo weekend [which is always the 1st weekend in May] this past May? Oh yeah, it was Manny Pacquiao. Was he fighting a hispanic fighter? No. This is more excuses from Bob Arum. A guy that has been claiming that Mayweather's running, ducking, and hiding simply refuses to do what it takes to make the fight happen. He's been talking so much. He needs to back up that talk of Floyd getting KOd inside of 4 rounds. It's time to put your money where your mouth is. He's bitching because the MGM Grand is going to have a fighter there that Bob wants to keep Manny away from on May 5th. Otherwise, we'd have Manny vs [insert Top Rank Fighter's Name Here] on May 5th. More than likely it will end up being Pacquiao-Bradley in April, at the Thomas & Mack Center.

 

Isn't Bob Arum's "yesterday I was lying, today I'm telling the truth" similar to Floyd's "Pacquiao, you're next!... I didn't say Pacquiao is next. Don't put words in my mouth"?

What if Manny has congressional hearings those dates ?

In fight negotiations you negotiate the fight date, one fighter just doesn't demand that the fight be held on ONE particular date.

Not really. Floyd never said the date was for Pac, although his main squeeze said that Floyd is gonna fight a little guy. Most likely Floyd's gonna call out MA Barrera after the Pac-Marquez fight.
