If Manny fight Cotto over Mayweather, it it a duck?

if pacman beats cotto it will happen...

 

They mentioned Mayweather's name numerous times before both Pac and Roach and Pac publicly stated that he KNOWS Mayweather will come back and he will fight and beat him. Even after the Hatton fight both him and Roach mentioned Mayweather.

This fight will happen, just takes some patience and we need to see how Mayweather does in his next fight with Marquez. That fight will gain Pac's attention like Pac's two fights with DLH/Hatton obviously gained Floyd's.

 

Cotto vs Floyd will never happen. Had FLoyd wanted it, it could have happened when Cotto was the guy at 147. But I'd love too see it of course if Floyd would take the fight.

Who cares? If Pac fights Cotto, he'd be fighting one of the guys that Floyd has been accused of ducking in his pre-retirement career. And it becomes the stay busy fight Roach says Pac needs before Mayweather.

 

IF that happens, I honestly think it may end up being mistake in Pac's part. If he fights Cotto to set up a Floyd fight, he simply may not make it to the Floyd fight, period. Even if he does, He will just give Floyd more reason to demand the lions share of the $$$(i know thats one of Arums concerns with making a Pac-PBF fight). He also puts himself in the position where he risks Cotto beating him and Cotto himself trying to set up a Floyd fight. If anything, i say Pac should play it safe and fight floyd first(and not mess with his own money and momentum) and if he still wants, then fight Cotto.

dude, pac wants to fight miguel freaking cotto! the man that has only lost to a plaster of paris enhanced margarito. if you would have told me he will fight cotto two years ago, i'll tell you you're ****ing on drugs. even arum, after pac beat diaz, said that pac will fight at 147 but will stay away from cotto.
