I like Cotto and Pac. If Cotto beats Clottey and Pac fights him, no way in hell it's a "duck".

When did he ask for 60%?
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind seeing a Cotto fight either. Really, I wouldn't mind seeing him fight a pillow...he'd make it exciting. I'm just saying that they seem worried about maybe being outboxed. They can't possibly think he'd run from Manny.

Well, thats not what he really said..He said Cotto would be the easier fight...Because Cotto conmes staright in..Translation..Easy to hit..When you go on record to say someone else is the easier fight..Then I think you call that ducking...

Look Manny and Roach know that Cotto is the easier of the two, they can ride off saying this is a guy Floyd didnt want to fight, but that isnt the truth, Mr its up to my promoter I do what he says.

Truth is Floyds style vs Mannys Style makes for a great fight lots of speed action power but honestly that is just the first four rounds, once Floyd sees what Manny is working with he will then adjust and he will not I repeat not step out of form.

Floyd will not stray away from the game plan nor the adjustment needed when he fights manny, And Manny has proven he does not always have the patience, which is why I think they are looking for something other than Floyd himself something that will get him a similar pat on the back

Honestly I think Floyd eats him up, Shuts him down and spits him out, and makes Manny look like just the average fighter, and that is why Roach isnt really pushing for this fight, I mean I expect them to take it, but I know for a fact they are not in a hurry.

I Saw freddy for a bit after he came back from Mannys win over Oscar, and I asked him if they are going after Floyd he said , we dont want to deal with Mayweather getting a fight with him, well negotiating with Floyd would be a nightmare and they are right, but not only that, Roach knows what Floyd has, and he knows what his fighter has I dont think they are going to take this fight.

Though they should~ I just dont think Roach wants to risk depreciating what Manny has already built up.

Retired, quit, left indefinitely use whatever words you will to describe Floyd leaving the sport.

Yes I do believe that now Pac is the P4P champ and the most exciting fighter around that he (Pac) is now in the drivers seat in the division. 140 lbs. for sure. As long as he keeps fighting the best fighters out there he will remain that way. Remember, Floyd was a draw but he used to pick opponents that would put fans in the seats and money in his pockets. Mayweather wasn't really the draw against DLH, Hatton and Gatti. It was their fans that made money for the PPV's. I now believe that Pac has shocked many folks in the boxing community with his recent victories AND his style of fighting which is much more exciting to watch than Mayweather and now he commands more attention. While (hopefully) still an excellent fighter, he has lost some of his clout.

hmm says... here's the article in one of the threads. The article is from the Ring (Interim Fight) and down midway they talk about PBF wanting a 60-40 split. The video interview i'm having trouble finding cause there are too many and don't remember which one.

I don't disagree, but this isn't actual negotiations...this could just be popping off. Arum obvious knows it because he spoke of doing a deal possibly as long as Haymons* not involved. The 60% could just be **** talking.
