It's very strange how the fighters people say he ducked are all Top Rank fighters and even Arum proved that Floyd didn't duck Cotto and Margorito! Would you like the proof?

Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million.

Arum said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn't interested in participating in.

"That's not in the cards," Arum said. "He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road."

  2. if margarito beats pacquiao, theres no way mayweather will agree to fight him. especially if margarito totally dismantles the china man. last night i dreamt that margo ko'd manny in the 11th. manny was already hurt and he was all over the place. staggering across the ring. i really hope that happens in real life. death by sacrifice to the mexicutioner!! huitzilopochtli needs the blood of a warrior...

Floyd will never fight Pacquiao, he knew something in this fighter's capability that could have a chance to beat him. And neither he would fight Margarito with whom Floyd already dodged and the very first time Mayweather ever got noticed of avoiding a fighter. Floyd knew Margo and Pac may have similar styles to give him problem in the ring. As long as Mayweather still has this fetish going to keep his clean 0 lose intact, he will never ever face real challenge in his career other than face fighters that would sure make him look beautiful in the ring.

pac should not have a perfect game where he will dominate margo in order for floyd to fight him next. look what happened when he dominated both hatton and cotto, floyd was advised by his father not to fight or go near pacquiao by all means possible and just try to fight him in the media and press.

  8. to be honest, brother, this is the first such dream ive had. usually it's me in the ring!! i dont think that will happen though. this fight probably wont go past the 6th or 7th round, if margo doesnt block most of manny's punches or doesnt hurt manny, he s going to get knocked out himself. no man can withstand those punches. vamos, tony, tu puedes! arriba mexico!!

  9. oK. I can respect that brother. :good

people will remember pacman more fondly than floyd because they will RESPECT what he achieved more without all the hot air and false dawns.

floyd is a great fighter with a solid resume, but people will be canning him or leaping to his defence in the same way brits cling to calzaghe now (even though floyd clearly achieved a lot more, he still never pushed his limits as a fighter).....yet we never have these discussions about less talented guys like arturo gatti and glen johnson - and the reason is because they wear their hearts on their sleeve UNCONDITIONALLY, and their decision to do that isn't tempered by the size of their wallets.
