He would take the fight with Sergio Martinez, in 2014. Here's why: While Pacquiao is on the decline, it is apparent that Sergio has also fallen off. This would be the perfect opportunity for Pacquiao to close out on a high note, as boxing's first 9-division Champion.

PAC was knocked out a guy who weighs in at 140 something...
As SHOT as Sergio is he is still a MIDDLEWEIGHT.

No Martinez is far to big an also if there was any chance he would have to come down to 154 but he has to much size an power for Manny you may think he looked bad in his last fight but he was still in the ring with a big man.

Pac wouldnt fight him unless it was at 147, so he probably would win

Manny Pacquiao can weigh at the most I'd say 150 pounds. If I was Pacquiao I'd definitely take the shot. A victory over Martinez in a dominating fashion would propel him back into greatness. He'd get even more credit than before for making such a great comeback against a middleweight. It's much better than an Alvarado or Rios fight.

It's also the best fight he can make outside of Marquez and Mayweather.

Actually, Pacquiao used to be my 2nd favorite fighter, at one point. I really want to see him go out on a good note.

I'm still scratching my head as to why Pacquiao decided to fight Marquez a fourth time. It made no sense: Nothing to gain, and everything to lose. No matter how you slice it, you cannot defend a knockout loss to nearly 40-year-old Juan Manuel Marquez. That is inexplicable.

Pacquiao should have fought Martinez instead. At least, Pacquiao has something to gain (being the first 9-division Champion) in that fight. Plus, a loss there would not have anywhere as bad as a knockout loss to Marquez.

Thats Greedy Bob for you. Bob is in it for himself. His fighters are mere puppets for his amusement and wealth.

Too much movement for Pac to to try to decipher and too much size without a catchweight and rehydration clause.

He got ktfo by Marquez and now you want to see him get ktfo by Martinez. Yea, he's really smart if he decides this....:-(

Pacquiao is a 6 division champ, there are no 145 and 150 pound divisions, if Pacquiao fought Sergio it would be at 156 and his fans would say Sergio isn't a big middleweight anyway.

I tell you, if they fight at a 156-pound catchweight, I think Pacquiao will dominate Martinez, a la Pacquiao-Margarito. Remember, Pacquiao won the Jr. Middleweight title, despite weighing it at just 144 pounds.
