Lets say that you are right, would you say that two wins over legends that were on the slide is better, worse, or about the same as Calzaghe's wins against Lacy and Kessler.

Not being confrontational, I honestly want to know what your answer would be.

Okay, wins over legends would look good on anyones resume, That's why calzaghe is fighting RJJ. Even though he's not the fighter he once was, it still looks good to have a W next to his name.

Lacy will always be cast as a hype machine. Kessler, we'll see how good that victory looks in a few years. If he unfies the belts, become undisputed champ of the SMW then that'll look like an excellent win on calzaghe's behalf.

Kessler could look like a great win. I think it was a good win as it stands for now.

Honestly, i'd go with legends even if they're on the slide.

don't turn this thread into a pac vs. calzaghe comparison thing because its not even close..

anyway if pac retired today he definitely is top 100 ATG and HOF, depends what he does in the future would put him on the top 50 list. I personally would like a david diaz(as it is definitely happening) then a casa, juan diaz, campbell, hatton

Pac's been fighting champions throughout his career. He's won championships in different weight divisions, and has decided to move up because there's nothing else to prove.

The only fights left for him in the featherweights are Joan Guzman, Edwin Valero, Jorge Linares, Steven Luevano, and Humberto Soto. If you want, we could also add Jorge Barrios and Rocky Juarez. Of those, Joan Guzman is probably most deserving with everyone else pretty close behind in line. Pac should fight Guzman before he retires. Fights with any of the names above are great names to add to one's resume whether Pac wins or loses.

If Pac had not fought Morales (whether you think Morales was at his prime, near his prime, or passed it), people would have always criticized Pac for not having done so. It was only after Morale's lost to Barrera in their 3rd. rematch that Morales wanted to fight Pac. In a way, Pac had to fight Morales at the time they fought.
