    Simple question..

If Emmanuel Steward were alive and kicking today and trained Wilder, would Wilder emulate the same success as Lenny and Klitty?

We both know that they owe all of their success, talent and fame to this legendary trainer.

Imagine if Manny got his hands on Wilder, a more powerful fighter than both Klitty and Lenny yet with the same glass jaw.

That surely would be something to behold... :yep

Calling Wilder a more power fighter is going out on a limb. I will say this one thing that's undeniable is the fact that Wilder is a great specimen unfortunately he's still so very raw. When he settles down and fights with poise he can be impressive pumping the jab and using the left hook. Manny would have polished him up real good though I'm not sure how he would deal true adversity, sure he was hit with some heavy shots from Stiverene and I was impressed with his style that fight but he needs to educate his right hand. He can still do great things he just needs to maintain consistent and stop reverting to that anxious wild swinging style.

One thing Steward knew was how to turn tall fighters into well ngh unstoppable monoliths. Wilder's strengths are power, and speed, there is so much Manny could accomplish with that.

He'd definitely be a lot more polished than he is, but no telling what level he could actually achieve.

Exactly. Lenny and Klitty were getting KO'd left and right before meeting up with Manny. It was so bad for Klitty that he contemplated retiring after the Brewster fight.

Luckily, grandpa Manny saved him from being a joke. I'm confident he could of done the same for Wilder, whose more powerful, naturally athetlic, and has a better chin than Klitty.

He would be better, but, as for a great, I am not so sure.

Lewis and Wlad where already technically gifted fighters before hooking up with Manny. As others have pointed out, Wilder is still quite raw. I also believe that pre Manny Lewis and Wlad had a higher ring IQ than Wilder.

Lennox and Wladimir had basic boxing skills and solid jabs though. Wilder on the other hand looks jittery and fights like a whirlwind. Zero finesse.
