Yeah probably. Charles reflexes were much sharper, faster 6 years earlier....the only problem is while Charles would hit Marciano more, he would still get hit the same amount. Charles in his prime still had issues with swarmer ray and Valentino crowding him...Charles should stick and move vs Marciano, but he probably wouldn’t because he loves to brawl. Charles younger legs could allow him to dance and move and win a decision over the rock, but he if brawls the result would be the same. Charles definitely would hit Marciano a lot more, his punches were coming in faster in 1948 compared to 1954...but that wouldn’t slow down the rock. I could go With that. He tested Marciano in his first fight so stands to reason a younger version would do better. I think Charles would dance for a good bit of the first half ,he'd have Rock trailing on points and frustration would kick in.Charles would then attempt to stand his ground More, which is when Rocky Start's to chip away .It'd be close and hard fought then after and would come down to judges decision. I believe Charles could just nick it by a few points. The rematch more like the actual first fight with Marciano winning a decision and regaining the belt .
