That was unheard of, and has never been done before nor again. The only person that ever came close to repeating this was Tyson.

Ezzard was 2-2 going into the Marciano fight and couldn't even beat Valdes at that point in his career, but he's beating Liston? OK.

Walcott was a career journeyman and had lost a third of his fights, and was on his final legs against Marciano. I don't think he's going to have an answer for the jab, and I see him being stopped late.

And yet Ezzard and Walcott were more proven and looked a ton better on film. Well in my opi on anyways.

Had you known anything about Williams, you'd know FIVE of those stoppage losses are AFTER he'd been shot, died 6 times on the operating table, suffered permanent partial paralysis and had withered down to 150 pounds. He was evidently NOT the same fighter, and the fact that you're using this against him is laughable at best, and more likely ignorant of his career. One of his stoppage losses was at the beginning of his career, which you've already conceded he was "so green" at that point. So we're left with the 2 KO losses to Liston in his peak. Absolutely no shame in that, and it's hardly an indication of a poor chin.

I have nothing against Williams I just think you’re over rating him. He was what he was. His top five wins you listed is proof of that. One good name and c level fighter after that. Lastarza like record. Nothing wrong w that but I wouldn’t pick Lastarza to beat Joe Frazier.

Ingemar was definitely worse fighter than all of them and some may argue that Patterson was still prime for his loss vs Ellis (I'm not sure if I would).

Moore was full year older and after rough fight against Marciano. I wouldn't call it the same version.
