Peter did hurt Toney, he knocked him down with a jab and put him in a defensive shell the rest of the fight in the rematch.

Peter also had no trouble battering Oleg into submission, something Rahman couldn't seem to manage twice.

But I get what your saying. McVey's logic is flawed at best, not to mention completely random and inconsistent. :D

McVey also won't be able to watch the readily available youtube footage of Holyfield beating Rahman like a step child. Something will come up, like a "Streetcar Named Desire" showing or a totally swinging jazz show, and Rahman's word is good enough for him.

and rahman hurt toney in the first round or second but being a former MW he should have been knocked out according to mcvery.but he wasnt. so what does that say about rahman who knocked out lewis who has maybe the best resume of all time. i dont get mcvery logic,

McVey is getting battered from all sides, he'll think he's surrounded. I honestly don't know how he's going to recover from this. The Mongoose has scored a devastating knockout!

Not being able to explain away FACTS,or answer questions addressed allways says all one needs to know about someone I invariably find. Taking the high ground after your legs have been cut off is leaving it a bit too late.:yep

This" render him unconscious," is a riposte to Foreman jab who stated that Marciano did render his opponents unconscious.

I said that NONE of Marciano's challengers were rendered unconscious and that it absolutely TRUE NO -ONE CAN DENY IT
And none of the Rocky fellatio gang have had the balls to admit it.

I've asked why ,if Marciano was a dynamite one punch ko artist his oppponents such as, a fat lhvy ****ell , an ancient lhvy Moore , a moderate challenger Lastarza ,and a past his best Charles, all required sustained beatings to soften them up for the kill?

None of the NONE of the Marciano fan boys has answered this question. I've told no lies, I've simply asked questions that so far have been replied to only with personal abuse which was not unexpected by me when I made the thread.

I'm accused of being colour prejudiced,Mendoza and Bummy Davis ,being bitter and cantankerous Bummy again, A Marciano hater by,Marciano Fan.Bitching and crying by Mr Acid Mongoose,
having an Anti Marciano agenda by Foreman Jab,making excuses for not watching footage by that unsurpassingly stupid Mongoose.

Having my posts altered and phrases substitued by both Mongoose and Bummy .eg Rahman was a dynamite puncher = never stated by me Rahman was the strongest and hardest by Bummy, again never stated by me.
It's all rather pathetic ,but also rather expected . I'm not complaining just holding the facts up to the light.

Again I ask the Marciano Fan Club to answer this question.

If Marciano was such a dynamite one punch ko artist, how come it took him so long to stop ****ell,Moore,Charles,Lastarza?
he hit everyone of them with everything he had including the kitchen sink.****ell went 9 rds.Moore 9rds,Charles 15 & 8rds Lastarza 11rds.:think

One of you brave Rocky boys must have a logical explanation for this sustained bludgeoing but ,NO ONE PUNCH KO's?

All those men weathered continuos beatings before eventually succumbing and being stopped in the latter part of the fight.

****ell,Charles ,and Lastarza were halted on their feet.Moore is sitting in his corner as the count continues he begins to rise but he is counted out exhausted, as he reaches a kneeling position .Past prime Charles took everything Marciano could throw at him in their first fight without being stopped .Walcott did the same for 13 rds until is age told and his legs began to fail him.In the rematch he was up at around 10.5 and protested the count.
The ball is in the Fan Boy's court!!!

I'm going to do something now that neither you Mendoza, or Bummy have done :

ADMIT I WAS WRONG .RAHMAN DID NOT KNOCK HOLYFIELD DOWN. I WAS MISTAKEN.
A couple of months ago I made a statement and was subsequently corrected, having been accused of not admittng it ,[something I am always ready to do,] I made seperate thread entitled "I Was Wrong". I got some nice responses to it.

In this case ,I hope this public admittance will suffice but, should you require a seperate thread saying I was mistaken, I will make one.

See my later post Sunshine, sorry to inform you that I went to see the "Hundred Foot Journey" last night ,a bit of fluff but my partner wanted to see it ,we went with friends and then on to an Italian restaurant.
A good time was had by all as they say.
N B Swing is a totally different idiom to mainstream Jazz which, along with Cool Jazz is what I listen to, no charge for the lesson.

And the KOs over Layne, Matthews, Charles, Louis, and Moore..etc.

Why pretend Marciano is only known for one knockout?

Rahman also failed to knockdown or stop Alfred Cole, a washed up CW belt holder who weighed 188-190 in his prime and was stopped several times.

Notoriously fragile guys like Barrett And Oleg taking some good shots from him without backing down is just insulting.

After the Lewis knockout, Rahman's resume as a puncher is shockingly thin. And that was against a man who's hands were down, and was standing with his mouth wide open and chin out.

Sanders was dead tired and Meehan quit after absorbing a tremendous amount of unanswered shots without going down. No doubt a powerful man physically but he just doesn't seem to be all that effective as a power puncher, average for a HW.

Nevermind Rahman usually had a weight and reach advantage over most of his opponents, while Rocky was against heavier or similar sized opponents most of the time. Rahman had 20 lbs on Sanders, 11 on Wooden, 12 on Barrett..etc.
