    Margarito by quite a bit. Williams can close the gap and even surpass him. but as of right now, his resume is VERY thin.

    If Williams can continue to make 147 he might be ableto catch up with Margarito. He is yet to be proven at 154 and 160.

    For now, Margarito has the upperhand.

    paul williams is also 3 years younger than margarito

    3 fights a year is the average for a fighter at the level of paul & margarito...

    so in 9 more fights for paul a lot can happen.. especially at the rate him and his team try to get people in the ring with him...

    his next nine could be like (assuming there all wins for the sake of the argument)..

    easy fight
    margarito
    cotto
    etc etc...

    you see where im going
