they have both had 1 great win and 1 big loss...PW handed Margo that loss...how the hell is PW not higher than margo

 

Williams fans will say Williams, and AM fans will say AM. AM has fought the better comp and won and lost and Williams has avenged his only loss and fought at higher weights, and even won a 154 lb title. AM lost at his two attempts at a title at 154. You can't judge them yet. If I were to make a judgement, I'd pick Williams...after all, he did beat AM.

it would be

margarito= cotto, clottey, cintron x2
williams= margarito, quintana, phillips, mattysse ( who was undefeated at the time)

 

I forgot about Clottey but it's too close to put Marg over Paul when he lost to Paul.

 

Margarito has accomplished more, but it's difficult to justify ranking him ahead of a guy that beat him so recently.

 

AM has beaten more fighters than the ones you listed. Overall, AM has fought the tougher comp. Head to head Williams did win 8 rounds to 4 or even 9-3.
