I do. I like tony and like watching him fight. but if he beats pac (which I think is possible) any chances of salvaging the pac vs mayweather fight will go out the window.

I won't give him much credit. He will have beaten a 135-140 lb fighter. He needs to rematch Cotto and prove beyond a doubt that his first win was legitimate.

And this is why ***** should have taken the fight now. With each fight and each training camp PacMan is wearing out slowly but surely. Even if he knocks out or gets a UD against Margarito, he will take some punishment in that fight. Maybe that is what ***** really wants. What a shame. :bart

You wouldn't give him much credit for beating the #1 pound for pound fighter in the world?:huh

Obviously beating Pac without cheating, would surely prove superiority over Cotto more than re-matching Cotto would in my opinion.

No. He is beating a naturally smaller fighter who doesn't belong at 150 or 154. I applaud PacMan for wanting test himself against bigger fighters, but I denounce Margarito for accepting a fight with a smaller fighter. However, that being said, if no one else is going to give Margarito a chance to redeem himself than it is wise of him to at least get a shot at beating PacMan and jumping to the front of the line, so to speak.
