I really try and stick to facts and solid reasoning. That is why that guy is on my ignore list. Posters that try and drag me into the gutter? Who needs it. There are a hand full of posters on my ignore list that I can count on responding to my posts even though THEY KNOW I don't see them. Longcounted tried, unsuccessfully, to explain to them that they should just ignore me also. The level of discourse on this board is low enough already. :-(

My apologies if it appears as if I was throwing you under the bus. Rather, I was simply trying to suggest that Mr. Hu is like you in that you obviously follow KP and he obviously dislikes him. In a sense, I was merely trying to point out that each of you have a "vested" interest in KP, so to speak.

martinez is the wrong fight for Pavlik. In my opinion Margarito has more to his repertoire than Pavlik. Margarito is a true pressure fighter alot like Williams, where pavlik is a one- two punch combination fighter. Martinez outboxes Pavlik and wins via UD!

 

The difference between me and Hermit is that i'll admit if my fighter has flaws and If he loses or looks bad I'll point it out infront of ESB! I'm a big PW fan and I was one of those people in the crowd booing when that judge scored it ridiculously for PW!! I thought Martinez deserved the draw!

atsch Not this again. Pavlik's best weapon is probably the one-two, fine. But so was Carlos Monzon's, and he's hardly a bum, now, is he? (Not that I'm implying any equivalence between Pavlik and Monzon, but you get the point.) Anyway, Pavlik stopped his last opponent with a right uppercut. He dispatched Pierre with a left hook, McKart with body shots. That doesn't sound to me like he just throws the 1-2 over and over!

 

You may be objective with respect to PW (I shall take your word for it), but you are nor particularly objective with respect to Pavlik.

 

Oh you thought Martinez deserved the draw did you? How nice of you.

Martinez won the fight more clearly than Williams won the fight.

 

Though I may not always agree with your opinions, I find you to be one of the most articulate and logical posters on here.
