:yep i could totally see margo signing a confession statement claiming he knew about the illegal wrapping the whole time, but thought the document he signed was for a rematch with cotto. "no habla english puto"
I don't think that gonna happen. People here are crazy . . . Klits, Mosley and Pac have been accused here of being in roids . . . did you see any apologies from these stupid posters?
Given just how much corruption there is in all aspects of boxing and its governing bodies, not to mention officials, he might be guilty but could easily get away with it. Money seems to talk more than "the right thing to do" in this sport so who knows whether he's really guilty or not. My personal feelings are that he is and he has been doing it for some time, but I'm just an observer so who knows. If he is found not guilty I will be very anxious to hear what the commission says it was, what it was doing on his wraps, and why it's ok. That in itself should get people talking.
I am not sure how he can be found "not guilty", when there was clearly a problem that was discovered when it happened.
Also, Margie and his trainer have been on suspension....if nothing was there....no suspensions. They're guilty....the hearing will determine the severity of the penalty. Its starting to look like Capetillo is going to take the fall....probably got an encouring phone call $$$ from Arum.
OK AND HE'LL GET HIS DAY TOMORROW...IM HOPIN THE MAN DIDN'T CHEAT CUZ I WANNA SEE HIM FIGHT AGAIN AND SEE JUSS HOW GOOD HE REALLY IS:bbb IF HE DID CHEAT THAN IMA MAKE YOU MY ESB HO!:deal
He could use the Donovan Mcnabb defense. "I wasnt aware that i couldnt put something that hardens when it gets wet in my gloves.....even though I am a professional boxer who has been boxing for almost two decades"
It all depends on what goes down tomorrow. Some possibilities: 1) Gloves/wraps were loaded with plaster, the commission found it, admits it, but somehow finds him not guilty and blames the trainer I'd still find him guilty. 2) Gloves/wraps were worked on for power but not loaded with plaster or any other illegal substance. With all the negative hype, starting with the broadcasters, this thing was out of control by the end of the fight. The commission needed time to work out the case that was possibly illegal but not easily conclusive. He'd then be in the Tito, DLH league of wrappings not in compliance. 3) The commission took so long because Marg. was the tip of the iceberg and many heads may roll.
No. Do you think he actually reads these boards? I know he really speaks English and pretends not to, but he doesn't read this ****. Who would these people actually be saying sorry to? You? Fat chance.
I would still call him a cheater and think that the commission and Arum are trying to cover their asses!Because we already know he tried to cheat...they told us already!
