Not a hateful question. But Margo would definitely beat Mora and Vernon, in my opinion. 160 is where he takes a beating.

Margo couldn't beat Santos at 154 I doubt he would be a belt holder at that weight.

Santos wasnt a top 154lber and Marg lost. What about when he faces Dzinderuk who won every round against Santos?

What a shitty thread. Full of joyboys bitching about some size advantage.

Tell me, how many lbs difference did Cotto, Clottey, Williams and Cintron have on Margarito?

Keep looking like gorillas. You'll be served everytime.

actually looking at the champs at 154 he has a pretty good chance to win a belt, lets all refresh our memories and remember he was winning the santos fight prior to the stoppage.

look at whos the guys at 154,

    old forrest
    mora
    spinks
    phillips
    alcine
    dzinziruk
and lastly dela hoya(also shot at this point)

pretty weak roster, if he wants to be a 2 time world champ this is his chance but its best to stay at 147 because he has the advantages over others

As I said, he would beat Mora and Forrest.. but moving up further would give him major problems. He takes entirely too many punches with his style. And it doesn't matter what type of chin you have, it will begin to take its toll if you continue to take a pounding.

It's funny if you say anything other than sing praises for the guy, his fans get ultra-sensitive and extra-particular. :|

Yet, they will bash Floyd like he's a ******/axe-murderer or something. Unbelievable. :huh

I very much doubt he beats Mora he may beat vernon because of his age but mora is too busy and too strong at 160 and 154 to be bother by margarito style.. maybe

Margarito fans dont have the preserve on being touchy;Floyds fans are incredibly sensitive. He's the ultimate sacred cow to his fans,to the point where they laud his 'business decisions' and arent overly bothered about him being in tantalising fights with the most dangerous competition.
You'd think they were on a percentage from Floyd.

Judge. Stop. It will not happen. It's better for his fans to THINK he can easily win a rematch and proclaim he is on top than for him to actually prove it. Enough.

Margarito is in the hottest division boxing and sitting at the top of the pile. I can not see the point of him moving up, the chance to be a genuine great and make a huge amount of money will be at welter. I would love to see him rematch Cotto or fight Berto and maybe a rematch with Williams. It would not matter if he won or lost those, the fights would be great and everyone wants to watch them.

A chance at bringing Oscar or PBF to the ring would be great too. I can only see him moving to light middle so that he can fight Santos again after that the fights there are pointless. He has not got the size at 160.
