If Margarito's legacy is tarnished, why isn't Trinidad's?

He was the first one to ever knockout Mayorga, and in the Winky and Hopkins fights he never really hit them with anything big.
How do you know he's power was gone? You're just a Tito hater.

I don't hate Tito, but I think all the available evidence points to his gloves being loaded to the max. He almost decapitates Vargas and knocks him on his ass in the first few seconds of the first round and beats Joppy like he's hitting him with a baseball bat, but he can't make Bernard or Winky flinch. Vargas said his shots felt like he was getting hit with bricks.

atsch He easily hit both Vargas and Joppy with bombs as they were dumb enough to stand toe to toe, he couldn't miss even though he was loading up, When did he ever hit Winky flush? How many times did he catch Bernard? Did he even get a glove on RJJ's face? The difference is RJJ, Winky, and Bhops all respected and avoided his power.

Mayo who had never been hurt in his career and took monster shots from Forrest (the same guy who almost KTFO Mosley)didn't respect tito's power and hasn't been the same since.

 

When has clinching been unfair?

 

No, excessive holding is illegal. If clinching was illegal and resulted in a oint reduction, you would see guys like Ricky losing fights 117 - 20

 

I guess you must not know your boxing rules. Refs understand that clinching will eventually happen when 2 fighters come together. If clinching was illegal, dont you think there would be a warning after the very first clinch in a fight? If clinching was illegal, fighters like Ruiz would get DQ'd in the first round.

Clinching is a technique used to slow a fighter down, to disrupt a fighters momentum, or to break a fighters rhythm.

 

Now you look at the first video and you tell me who would you wanna be, the guy who does or does not clinch?

 

Well I guess you and I are going to have 2 different outlooks on this. You see clinching as illegal, but because I see it so much and 98% of the time it goes without resulting in a point reduction, I see it as being a technique and a part of boxing. But I'm fine with clinching and I look at it as a technique. Yes, its a disadvantage for the more aggressive boxer, but boxing isn't all about aggressiveness, its about being smart. Wrong Freddy...what Tito did is not illegal everywhere. In NY it apparenty goes against the rules. They said he used extra gauze and taped over the knuckles...not that it was concrete. Also Bhop stated after the fight that it was just another mind game to get into Tito's head. Margo used an object under his wraps...totally different! He had either plastic or something similar to it...and it fell to the floor and bagged. I know you want to make light of what Margo did, but don't try to compare the 2...Margo could've killed someone in the ring with those loaded glove.

 

He fought natural bigger guys after Vargas you ****ing dimwit. Bhop made pavlik...who most consider pretty damn strong, look weak...also he did the same to tarver and they all way bigger than Trinidad...so what's your point? Use your ****ing brain and try thinking before typing...dumbassatsch
