Assuming Marquez beats Pacquiao by KO or clearly on the score cards and looks good at the weight would you like to see him rematch Floyd at a 144 catchweight ?? with floyd actually making the weight

    :think

If Marquez beats emmanuel or even does good, it shows that Juan has some legitimacy at 147. He shouldn't become some catchweight scum like emmanuel.

Nah. It'll end up being the same result.

He'd have to fight Pac for the fourth time. But assuming he isn't contracted to do that, I'd like to see him try his luck at winning a few titles at 140.

Why go to 144lbs if he can beat the so call #1p4p at 147lbs? Besides Floyd vs Marquez 1 was clearly one sided. So the second on would probably be just the same.

Yeah, why not. but remember that's IF... coz I really think he can't make it! I mean Manny is just too strong and powerful right now (OK, back-off Pachaters!).
so Marquez just train hard so you can give Manny a real fight.. and you'll not be comatosed by the straight left hook of PACMAN!! haha!
I know you guys wanna see this,, mark your calendars, it’s on Nov. 12.
just want to share this tip to you fellas,, check this out and you might see the pacquiao-marquez fight in person… ciao

I'm sure Floyd fanboys would love to see this again. But a rematch is still pointless. He called out Martinez, now he needs to back that up. Or is Floyd just a liar? Hmm...

Im just saying because JMM said after the fight with May that if he had been fighting at that weight a lil longer it would have been a different outcome... maybe not a win but a more competitive fight

Same result me thinks, except floyd would likely stop him, Marquez best days are behind him. Since Diaz 2 unimpressive.

If he wins he better jump straight back to 135 and face rios and clean out the division. Then win a bauble at 140.

The weight wasn't the main determining factor in JMM losing as badly as he did. Mayweather being too good, was. So even if he did put on the weight more effectively, Mayeather would still have outclassed him by the same margin, in my opinion.

He's always been closer to Pac's league, than he has Mayweather's.

    Fair question.
Normaly when a fight is as one sided as Mayweather/Marquez was. I have no desire to see a rematch. I'm inclined to think the same way here.
There is a However. The However is that we are a few years removed from their fight. Both Mayweather and Marquez have been winning. Mayweather would be coming off a win over Ortiz and Marquez over Pacquiao.
I think if they do rematch it will be at 147. I don't think we will see a catchweight this time around.
My prediction is that the rematch plays out like the first fight, with Mayweather winning a clear decision.
