hmm... if diaz just had some power in his punches, he could've had jmm in a whole heap of trouble in those early rounds. surely, mayweather punches a lot harder and faster than diaz while having great defense. let's see what happens.

How is this fight not to do with legacy? The guy is jumping up 2 weight classes to fight an undefeated fighter and former P4P#1

You joking or being serious?, who came close to doing what Pacquiao did to Hatton?, not even Mayweather. Might want to give David Diaz credit for taking those punches and that was at 135lbs regardless of how you view Diaz as a fighter.

DLH was stunnd from the FIRST shot Pacquiao landed in the first round and the more he landed the more he backed DLH off, meaning that his punches were having an affect otherwise DLH would have just charged in reckless.

Just like Manny had him in trouble and he pulled it out.
I am really favoring Marquez to pull this out with my fingers
    crossed.

This fight is 100% legacy, I'm not saying otherwise. Just mentioning that to people who try and make it look like he's 110% money with this fight IF he loses. We all know how big it will be for his legacy if he wins.

If losing a step is KO'ing two fighters that were never KO'ed before one a lineal champ (JC) or even if you want to make the claim that he wasn't lineal champ because of the Santa Cruz fight. The other the former unified champ then losing a step doesn't really seem that bad.

The odds do seems stacked against JMM on this one though.

No one takes you serious. I posted the clips so you can see since you obviously didn't see the fights.

I'm not taking away anything from Marquez. In my opinion he was simply hit way more often than a fighter of his skill level should against those two guys.

agree. B to B+ level fighters like that shouldn't be able to hit a certified p4p elite (A to A+ level) that cleanly and that often.

Although Casamayor is not in his prime he is still a very good boxer and that was his first fight at 135. Juan Diaz is a volume puncher so yeah he was going to get hit.

At 130 lbs and below, any fighter that Pacquiao has ever faced would have folded much sooner under the barrage that was recieved from David Diaz and DLH.......

.......the spectacular concussive KO of Hatton is a big question mark in that Hatton is a fighter that just has'nt taken a punch well since Collazo had him going.....

The proof is in the pudding......the only fighter not to hurt Hatton since the Collazo fight has been featherfisted Paul Malignaggi.

The fight after Mayweather against Juan Lazcano, the hometown referee literally stalled the fight when Hatton was badly hurt and ready to go.......otherwise, Pac-Hatton may very well not have happened.

......its written all over the wall, Hatton had been on a rapid decline since the Collazo fight......

My point is that Pac has not brought his power up with him to 140 lbs for the fact that its going to take a more accumalitive effect for him to get fighters out of there than had been the case at the lower weights.

One fight against glass Joe is'nt going to convince me Pac is a devestating puncher at 140 lbs.
