IF Marquez DOES catch Floyd flush, does he have the power to KO PBF?

I would love for Juan Manuel Marquez to upset the odds, but I just don't see how he can beat Floyd Mayweather Jr.

I agree. Floyd has a better skillset, but he doesn't have enough power to gain Paul's respect.

    But ****......

There is always the what about Quintana argument....

Zab dropped him with a counter right... Ref didnt catch it, but Mayweather's glove and maybe knee were on the canvas.

Not to mention, Floyd is a fat superior technical boxer than Carlos Quintana.

I envision Paul Williams causing Floyd all sorts of problems, but I wouldn't favor him to knockout Floyd.

    You're saying "flush" . . . so I'll say yes.

The punches that fighters didn't see coming are the punches that are lethal.

bad examples.. Hatton gets KO'd by lots of 140 pounders.. Even feather fisted Maliagnani rocked him.. I credit Cortez with the KO more than I credit Floyd. At times I thought Cortez was going to tie Hatton hands and let Floyd hit him at will... He was able to hit Oscar flush ONLY because Oscar ran out of gas from Chasing Floyd for 8 straight rounds...AND Corrales??? Corrales' mind wasn't even in that fight. Word was running he would get arrested right after the fight for beating his wife.. Huge distractions! He kept looking at himself on the big screen.

So how do you explain how he visibly buzzed a 154lb Oscar De La Hoya with a single right hand counter?

Floyd is not unbeatable... Fighting washed ups and weakest links for years after years proves nothing to me. Marquez is a great fighter but yes, he's small and not suited to fight at 145.

:rofl:rofl:rofl:patsch. It was a ****ing off balance thing you dumb ass. Same as when Hatton "landed" that jab. Floyd stepped on Zabs foot. The punch Zab threw had nothing on it and Floyd was not hurt in the slightest. It was one of those knockdowns that would of counted but not b/c he was hurt.

Anyone would have buzzed a gassed out Oscar.. Oscar always gassed out in the later rounds for most of his career... normal effect of when you're tired.

:goodleaning back on the shot at that, and the Hatton shot he was going backwards. When Floyd sits on his punches which is rare he has good pop.
