Who is a good fight for him? Now I want Marquez Paquaio at 140 as much as anyone but I just dont see Manny taking the fight for whatever reason. So who out there is a good fight for him legacy wise? Will he have to move up to light welter for a decent name?

He can go to 140 and fight all the guys he avoided to take the katsidis fight.

I think so.. Either winner of Khan/Madiana or Alexander/Bradley would be good for his legacy. The man really doesn't have any other options besides Pac. Sadly, I don't see him fighting Pac again, sticking around for too long, and losing to one of these young guns.

If he can't get Pacquaio next then JMM probably faces Morales as long as Morales beats Barrios in a couple weeks and that win isn't a given. JMM should really consider moving up if he wants Pac again. Beating top guys at 140 could really put pressure on Pacquaio to face him again. As long as he stays at 135 and Pac at 147 than there is a partial reason for the fight not to happen but if JMM beats a top guy at 140 that reason gets eliminated.

Here is the simple truth...If the fight is at 147 it should be Shane Mosley...If it is at 140 it should be Juan Manuel Marquez. Both guys are flawed opponents going in.

Khan is a very bad match up for him. I would put him against the Bradley-Alexander winner but there is less money there.

Either Morales, Soto, or Guerrero..then move up to 140 and fight either juan urango or lamont peterson once he loses to ortiz :). Then try for that 4th world title OR the Pacquiao fight or both and if he does both he'll be the ATG mexican next to JLC

NOOOOO...the only man Pac should face now is Floyd!...I'd like to see Manny fight Marquez but no Mosley! Mosley is 40 years old...there is no way he can adapt to manny's style...shane has lost a lot of movement...manny might as well fight sergio mora...Mosley is done unfortunately

Marquez is more risky than Mosley
-Marquez showed he stil has it VS Mosley lost big time and got a gift draw
-Fighting Marquez drains Pac to 140 VS He can stay at 144 fighting Mosley
-Marquez is the only fighter who came close beating him apart from Morales (in past 5 years)
    -Marquez = 37 VS Mosley = 39

Ladies and gentlemen lets get ready to embrace Pac VS Mosley!!!!!

Guerrero would be great for his legacy IMO. It would be a tough matchup and one that he very well may lose.

Maybe one more lightweight contender, perhaps someone like Gamboa or Lopez moving up in weight would be great for his legacy, then someone like Bradley or Alexander.

jmm is no longer a 135 lbs fighter. his fight night weight is always above 140's. he should stop this dehydrating / rehydrating crap and clean up the 140 division.
