About Pacquiao's legacy or my prediction or both? I'm disappointed in him and Floyd about(lets not get into that). To be fair, JMM and Pacquiao are about the same size though I'm not sure how JMM takes Manny's punches and you can't ignore Marquez' age and decline. Pacquiao has declined but very slightly and I think he should pick JMM apart but I want it to go the distance in a competitive battle though I HIGHLY doubt that. He's getting dropped by Katsidis remember so what would Pacquiao do to him if power is an issue to JMM?(which I hope it's not)

You still did not answer the question. Should JMM retire or not if he gets dropped in the early rounds?

He should try and grab a legit title at 140 before hanging them up

No fighter wants to go out losing, he won't hang them up if he loses, even if he possibly should.

This is the reason why i prefer FMJ to retire if he continues to duck the real fight fans wants to see.

Gee, his fans' thinking process is bordering illiteracy!

If Marquez moves up 2 weight classes and gets stopped by the most aggressive and possibly best puncher in the division he needs to retire?

    About...
    • Pacquiao being horrible if he doesn’t stop a man who’s never been stopped before.
    • Pacquiao being horrible for jumping up two weight divisions to fight a man who everyone said would destroy him, as well as facing a fully-fledged, dangerous, elite welterweight – that was not affected by the catchweight - at a time when he [Pacquiao] wasn’t quite sure how he’d fair against live opponents at that weight.
    • Pacquiao being horrible for exacting revenge against a man who beat him and obliging a three-fight contract he’d signed for from the beginning (I think that was the case. You may want to check up on that).
    • Pacquiao being horrible for facing Barrera in a rematch which was actually pretty in high demand at the time to prove the first win wasn’t a fluke.

Why is everyone easily picking Manny to stop JMM who's not only never been stopped, Pac wasn't able to stop JMM in two fights despite putting him down four times, not only that Manny has only two early stoppages in his last 15 fights...

I mean let's face it Pac has power but he's getting too much credit for this supposed tremendous power that he just doesn't have It's speed that's his weapon, I see JMM who is a true warrior being too motivated to just get blitzed in a few rounds, Pac hasn't shown me anything as of late that he's going to KO anyone early...

Although Margo has a great chin Pac hit him at will with power punch after power punch and couldn't even knock him down...he failed to cut off the ring and KO a frightened Mosley who was begging to be put out his misery...it took him 9 rounds to put down little Diaz who ate pretty much every punch Pac threw...and took him 12 rounds to finish Cotto and the ref had to stop that...not going to even mention Clottey....

If Manny hits so hard he should surely have found a way to KO some of these dudes...now I'm to believe that Pac has gotten even more powerful since the Shane fight and he's gonna KO JMM, the odds are against him stopping JMM at all let alone early, he just doesn't possess that type of power, Manny has knock down power not knock out power and I'm seeing a very close fight that will be a split decision again...

Pac also had early knockdowns against Cotto and Mosley which turned the rest of the fights into track meets, though. He would probably have more KOs if his recent opponents were more concerned with winning than surviving.

Retire for what Pac isn't the only fighter alive this is how Floyd makes his money, he doesn't have to fight Pac because his haters or Pac fans says he's scared, if that's the case Manny should retire too for fighting the shells of former boxers when there are young fighters who are available...

He would definitely have more ko's if he had more power, could cut off the ring and had killer instinct, its not his opponents fault he didn't KO them, Shane was there to be ko'ed but Pac couldn't cut the ring off and just seemed to not know how to finish the fight, he hit Cotto with every punch in the book, if he is this KO artist he should have been ko'ed him...

Clottey just stood in front of Pac covering up but Pac couldn't wear him down and KO him, if he had true power he would have found a way to penetrate that guard a KO him...Oscar & Margo were hit with every power punch consistently but he couldn't even dropped them and they have both been stopped at least once previously, so yes his power is being overated, in that reguard he has knock down power not KO power at this point in his career...

he has nothing left to prove, I doubt he can beat the top guys at 140 especially after the brutal KO from Pac and going back to lightweight will create the roy jones effect and he'll be too weak from losing all that muscle he's put on for the pac fight. my guess is that he'll seek out a fight vs Khan or someone else at 140 before retiring where he'll lose lopsidedly and hopefully be smart enough to call it a day before he starts getting beat by lesser opponents.
