Then: WOW! We'll have another FOTY candidate! True warriors! Vazquez-Marquez III was so great, that we could start counting this year from that fight. Of course it's hard to believe that this can be as good as that was, but half as good is still a terrific fight.

I for myself think that this is going to be more like a boxing match. JMM remembers the 3 KDs, PacMan remembers his own aggression turned against him and losing a lot of rounds. It's hard to see anyone jumping on the other, so I say it's gonna be an exciting fight - but an exciting boxing match, not an exciting brawl. It's gonna be a technical/skill superfight with a bit less drama than the Barrera-Marquez - which was so high on skill level that it almost made me cry - and still a great brawl at some moments...

Look at Pac's last fight: more of boxing against MAB, and he was more tactical since the Larios fight. Marquez on the other hand, after the aggressive fights following the John loss and the skillful brawl against MAB, he returned to his counter-punching style to shut out Juarez... So I don't see a big brawl here... but it will be an A+++ skill, technical battle with a lot of excitement!

How do you think the fight's gonna turn out?

I dont think it will be as good as Vazquez - Marquez III but it will still be one of the better fights of 2008.

It doesnt have to be like Marquez-Vazquez III to be a great fight, and thats the beauty of it, all fights are different, and should be different. And yes, i agree, if it's half as good as Marquez-Vazquez, it would be great, but i think it's the difference between fighters that could make this fight equal, or better,or even fall short of being as great as Marquez-Vazquez with more or less action, although more action seems improbable. And i also agree with you that it will probably be more of a boxing match because of the reasons you gave BigBone. Well, God Bless people and lets enjoy the fight!

It can never reach the skill level of Marquez-Vazquez because Pac doesn't have the skill set and it can never reach that intensity level because JM doesn't have the guts to engage... I think Pac looks like the best conditioned fighter of all times since Bruce Lee, completely ripped and chiseled, and the way he fights at a non-stop pace, the only chance JM has is a boxer's chance and that's not bad... I doubt it will go twelve or that this comes to be competitive tho - they are not evenly-matched, I suppose.

It's not a lack of guts. Its the presence of skills and intelligence not to engage recklessly. Give the ****ing guy his credit.

:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl Does it ever occur to them that they just might be posting these kind of comments, while seated and eating a supersized "meal" along with thier diet drink of choice?

A guy who is a world class fighter that got up from a broken nose and 3 knockdowns in the 1st round to edge a fight against a p4p'r is now gutless?:rofl:rofl:rofl:patschWTF?!
