He has had his leg operations....he has 1 more contracted fight with hbo after cotto . He has said he would fight ggg.

If he beats cotto and ggg , where would he be on your p4p list?

Currently he's #4 on my list he might move to #3 depending on what Rigo does who's #3 on my P4P list.

Even prime Martinez doesn't beat up Golovkin or if he did so he would get a fair share of beating himself.

stay the same at number 4 won't go up from beating an even older version of Cotto than the washed up and beat down version that fought Floyd

Martinez had a interview recently where he said he hasn't even recovered yet or ran in over a year. This fight might actually be competitive.

If he beats Cotto and GGG he wouldn't retire.
Maybe he'd get his chance against Mayweather.

Massive 'if' in regards to beating up GGG, my guess is that Martinez would get KO'd at this point.

If that's true, knowing Martinez, just because he wasn't running I'm sure he was training on a bike, pool, and plyo. His stamina is probably top level even now and I doubt he was ever very far out of great condition. The guy's a work out freak who uses a ton of different approaches for his training and prideful athletes like him always find ways to stay fit.

Come training camp time, the muscles in the knee will be very well prepared and should be able to handle his jumping style of boxing.
