very true. I shouldve thought of it like that first. My opening post was still thinking of Martinez with the image he has now, not with him as the lineal mw champ.

He also fought his first 10 or so fights at MW.

Of course he would. It would be the biggest money fight out there for him.
Although before when asked about a rematch he didnt seem so confident about taking it.

Just like PW. He will take the rematch as long as the guy he just fought went on to do something great.

I don't want to see Martinez win. Upsets are good on the night of the fight, but later they just took away some great fights. No one is going to clamor for Martinez fights really. Pavlik is a puncher and looked so dominant before. If he moves up and fights the Froch and Abraham level guys at 168 that would be great.

I'd rather see Martinez get another shot at Cintron. Sergio deserves the opportunity to clear that up.

For the record books yes. To hardcore fans like us that saw that fight, we know who won, and who won decisively. The judges were paid that night :-(.

But sure it would be fun to watch Cintron get ko'd again and cry back into the fight. Wait he's gonna do that against williams.

I agree....People who saw the fight know that Martinez clearly clearly won....as far as the judges being paid, i dont think cintron has that kind of pull or management behind him for that. but Martinez most definetl kicked his ass....

I know, just pisses me off to think of how 2 out of 3 let alone 103 could say it was even.
