If Mathyse beats Morales for the WBC, Does Khan fight him next?

Either way Guerrero (if he beats Maidana), Matthysse (if he beats Morales) and Peterson are all very legit, live opponents.

 

True that. But compared to the first two, Peterson isn't that exciting. He had his chance back in April, so I'd say he's less deserving of the three.

 

Guerrero would still be my ideal choice I think, I want to see how good Khan is when boxing with another skilled operator like The Ghost.

Matthysse would be mine. That would be three power-punchers in four fights that Khan would have faced. Not bad for a glass-jawed fraud. I can see a win over Guerrero - who I rate highly too - being met with the "he picked on a lightweight" excuse, unfortunately.

 

good point, there really is an excuse for every fight Khan takes though. If he beats Matthysse in December people will probably say that Matthysse "overtrained" or some ****.

 

Yh DDDUUDDDEE.... some boxing fans aren't content with any of Khan's wins lol...they always seem 2 come up with reason's for the other not winning. It's good 2 c Matthysse getting a title shot... he deserves it :yep

 

As long as he fights either Morales/Matthyse or Guerrero/Maidana its fine by me. I really don't want to see the Peterson fight anymore. That should have been done instead of the McCloskey farce.

 

There was an American fan who called in on a podcast (can't remember which) and he was asking

"When will Khan finally fight somebody live. Not somebody who's old like Judah, or slow like Maidana, or a light hitter like Malignaggi, or defensive like MsCloskey, or wooden like Kotelnik" Basically wrote of EVERY single opponent as a bum.
